Aroona Irani is back with yet another show, Naaginn.. Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa. This is a tale of an Ichadhari Naagin, played by Sayantani Ghosh..Zee TV, India’s largest media and entertainment conglomerate unveils an interesting saga of an ichadhari, “Naaginn…waadon ki agniparikshaa”. The masterpiece that hits your television screens on Friday October 5, 2007 at 8:30 p.m. has been created by AK Films, who in the past have given Zee TV hits like Rabba Ishq Na Hove and Mehndi Tere Naam Ki.

Aroona Irani, the lady with a penchant for churning out successful dramas is the force behind this show. Naaginn is a tale of an Ichadhari Naaginn who transforms herself to take revenge from the Rathod family that had killed her parents for attaining the invaluable Naagmani. She gets married in the same family but her duty as a wife comes in between her revenge and her love towards her husband.
The show set up in Rajasthani background has Shayantani Ghosh (Naaginn) playing the lead protagonist along with Aroona Irani, Ali Hasan, Siddhart Dhawan and Shabaaz Khan.
