Pretty excited about her character Ashita said, “My character’s name is Bubbly Chaddha in the show. She is funny woman but at the same time she is a very good human being at heart. She is addicted to shopping but she buys things only on easy monthly installments. Everything in her house is bought on EMIs, even a toothbrush. Sometimes she buys things in trains and those too on EMIs which is next to impossible.”

Further she added, “All of us share a good chemistry not only on screen but off screen too. We enjoy shooting together and especially now when we know each other very well it’s like a fun riot for us.”

‘Silky Kumar’ chooses BBHBBH over BB

Remember ‘Silky Kumar,’ the fictional Bollywood star in the New Axe ad? The ad made ‘Silky Kumar’ famous overnight. ‘Silky Kumar’ is Srman Jain in real life and is currently playing Babli in the Hats Off show Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum.

The young chap plays a young, budding, Bhojpuri actor in BBHBBH. Apparently he was offered a role in Sony’s new show Bhaskar Bharti, but due to prior commitments to BBHBBH, he had to refuse the offer. But he certainly isn’t complaining.

He says, “I heard many good things about Hats Off productions and always had the desire to work with them. So, when I was told that my track will be extended, as the show is catching on, I was more than happy to hang in there.”

Qazi out of Sarkaar Ki Duniya

Qazi Taqueer, the only celebrated face on Sarkaar Ki Duniya has been evicted from the show.

This lad from Srinagar had donated all his गिन्निस तो संजू to secure himself from Sankatmandal. Shweta, who played the role of Dalnayak for the first time ever in Sarkaar Ki Duniya, had kept Qazi and Puneesh out of the weekly task.

“It has been a wonderful experience to be a part of Sarkaar Ki Duniya. It’s a rare opportunity where I got to meet people from varied backgrounds. Initially it was a bit tough to blend, as I was the only known face and the winner of a reality show. But then later on things shaped up quite well,” said Qazi.

Qazi and Jagdish received equal votes in Sankatmandal due to which the final decision was left to Ali, who had not received even a single vote against him. A previous bad experience with Ali ended up Qazi losing his place on the show.

While leaving, Qazi donated 40 ginnis to Vishwas, who had stolen his ginnis in the past. And the rest 40 to Rashid and Puneesh, his best friends on the island.

Ekta gets bold with a show on fashion

Who says that Ekta Kapoor isn’t changing with time? The lady, who’s all long projected saas and bahus, is set to produce a new that show will depict the world of fashion. Kapoor is said to have been inspired by Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2008 hit flick Fashion. Seasoned actress Amrita Singh marks her return to television with this show.

Talking about the show, a source says, “This is Amrita Singh’s first soap after Kkavyanjali. Tentatively titled Fashion, this daily is scheduled to go on air next month and will probably air on NDTV Imagine. Singh plays a head honcho of a fashion house and her character is inspired by real life designer Ritu Kumar. Ekta is trying to rope in two more big male stars. Plus, ace designer Manish Malhotra will be regularly associated with the show. This is perhaps Ekta’s biggest show ever.”

We tried contacting Ekta Kapoor and even sent her a text message but she didn’t reply.
